Definitions

To help you understand this policy, here are some key terms:

  • Users: Refers to all individuals, including customers and visitors, who interact with and utilize our services.

You have the option to enable or disable cookies. You can often opt out of many ad-serving cookies through services like http://www.aboutads.info/choices or http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices (for EU users).
  • IP Address: An Internet Protocol address, a unique numerical label assigned to each device connected to the internet (e.g., computer, smartphone).

Data Processing and Security

a) We collect, process, and use Personally Identifiable Information that you provide. However, Ploy Fun will only do so within the limits permitted by law and with your explicit consent.

b) Your personal data is used for the following essential purposes:

  • To provide you with our comprehensive services.
  • To ensure an efficient and seamless user experience, including maintaining, technically supporting, and securing our service.
  • To respond effectively to your requests and inquiries.

c) Ploy Fun employs robust technical and administrative security measures to ensure compliance with data privacy laws and to prevent data loss, manipulation, destruction, or unauthorized access. These security measures are regularly monitored and updated to align with industry standards.

d) Should we utilize content, tools, or other resources from third-party providers based outside your country, it's understood that data transfer to those countries may occur.

Registration and Third-Party Authentication a) You may register and log into Ploy Fun through third-party authentication services, such as Facebook.

b) To register via such services, you must have an existing account with that provider (e.g., a Facebook account) and either enter your login details or already be logged in.

c) For service optimization, when you register through a third-party authentication service like Facebook, Ploy Fun collects specific "Public Profile Information" provided by that service, which may include:

  • Your name.
  • Your unique Facebook identification number (Facebook ID).
  • The gender designation you provided to Facebook.

d) After authentication, Ploy Fun also receives access to, but does not permanently store, your public profile pictures.

e) We only receive information regarding your gender if it is publicly viewable according to your Facebook privacy settings.

f) Ploy Fun will not receive any further data without your additional consent.

g) Your third-party account password (e.g., Facebook password) can never be seen or saved by Ploy Fun.

h) Your data can be automatically compared and synchronized with your user account on the third-party platform. However, Ploy Fun is not obligated to continuously update this data.

i) We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party authentication service (e.g., Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy) for more details on their consent processes and how to revoke consent.

j) If you wish to disconnect your Ploy Fun account from your third-party account (e.g., Facebook), you can do so through your settings on that platform (e.g., https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications) or by using the "Unregister" function on the Ploy Fun website.

Server Log Files

Each time you visit our Service, information such as your IP address, access provider, referring URL, date/time, browser type and version, operating system, and the amount and status of transferred data is stored in our web server log files. We use this log data, without any other personal or pseudonymous profiling, solely for the purpose of operating, securing, and optimizing our servers, as required by law.

General Information on Using Social Media Platforms (e.g., Facebook)

a) If our Service operates as an application on a social media platform (e.g., Facebook, operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA), or if you use its authentication services, we require your permission to access certain data stored on that platform.

b) In the context of the social media platform's consent dialog, you will be explicitly informed about the data collection and the information shared by the platform with Ploy Fun (e.g., public profile, friends list, and "Like" information, only if these are viewable publicly according to your platform's privacy settings) through our Service.

c) Ploy Fun may use the requested data anonymously for statistical purposes. For instance, we might evaluate how often content was shared to help us improve our Services, including our quizzes and tests. This evaluation is performed anonymously, meaning it is independent of your Personally Identifiable Information (e.g., without your Facebook ID). These evaluations are strictly for internal use and are not shared with third parties.

d) Our Service may incorporate social plugins ("plugins") provided by social media platforms. These plugins are typically identifiable by the platform's logo (e.g., a Facebook logo). For a comprehensive list of Facebook social plugins, please refer to http://developers.facebook.com/doc/plugins.

e) We recommend reviewing the social media platform's privacy policy (e.g., Facebook's at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy) for more details on their consent process, granted consents, and how to revoke such consents within your profile settings.

f) You typically have the option in your social media application settings to end your use of our Service at any time (e.g., Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications).

Use of Marketing and Re/Marketing Services

a) Ploy Fun utilizes "Facebook Pixel" and "App Analytics" (collectively referred to as "Facebook Re/Marketing Functions") provided by Facebook, Inc.

b) These Facebook Marketing Functions allow us and Facebook to identify relevant target audiences to display advertisements ("Facebook-Ads") based on potential user interests, as well as to users with similar characteristics ("Lookalike Audiences"). We use these functions to ensure our Facebook-Ads are shown primarily to users who have demonstrated interest in our Service. The Facebook Marketing Functions also help us and Facebook determine the effectiveness of our ads by understanding user actions after clicking on a Facebook-Ad and being directed to our Service.

c) The data collected by Facebook through these functions is pseudonymous and does not directly identify you. However, Facebook may link this data with your profile within their network. For detailed information on how Facebook processes your data, please refer to their privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

d) If you wish to opt out of being subject to our and Facebook's use of Facebook Marketing Functions for advertising purposes, you can adjust your preferences in Facebook's ad settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or, for users in the EU, visit http://www.youronlinechoices.com. Your choices will be respected across platforms and devices, whether you're using a desktop or mobile device.

Use of Google Marketing and Re/Marketing Services

a) We employ marketing and remarketing services ("Google Marketing Services") provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

b) Google Marketing Services enable us to display more targeted advertisements for and on our Websites and Service, ensuring you only see ads that are genuinely relevant to your interests. When you access our Websites or other sites where Google Marketing Services are active, Google executes a code, and "re/marketing tags" (invisible graphics or code) are integrated into the Website. These tags help store an individual cookie on your device (similar technologies may be used instead of cookies). These cookies can be set from various domains, including google.com and doubleclick.net. This file records which websites you visit, what content interests you, which offers you click on, along with technical information about your browser, operating system, referring websites, access time, and other details about your use of the website content. Your IP address is also recorded. Please note that within the European Union or other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, your IP address is truncated before being transmitted in its entirety to a Google server in the US and only truncated there in exceptional cases. Your IP address will not be linked with any of your data from other Google services. The aforementioned information can also be combined with similar data from other sources. If you visit other websites afterward, you may only be shown ads that directly reflect your interests.

c) Within the scope of Google Marketing Services, your data is processed pseudonymously. This means Google does not store and process your name or email address. Instead, it processes relevant data based on cookies within pseudonymous user profiles. In other words, from Google's perspective, ads are managed and displayed for the cookie owner, regardless of who that owner is, rather than for a specifically identified person. This exception applies only where you have explicitly permitted Google to process data without this pseudonymization. Information collected about users via "DoubleClick" is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the US.

d) Based on Google Marketing Services, we integrate third-party "DoubleClick" ads. DoubleClick uses cookies that allow Google and its partner websites to run ads based on users visiting this or other websites.

e) We also integrate third-party "AdSense" ads through Google Marketing Services. AdSense uses cookies that enable Google and its partner websites to run ads based on users visiting this or other websites.

f) For further information on Google's use of data for marketing purposes, please refer to their site map: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads. Google's privacy policy can be viewed at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

g) If you wish to object to the collection of data by Google Marketing Services, you can use the settings and opt-out functions provided by Google: http://www.google.com/ads/preferences.

Use of Google Analytics

a) Ploy Fun uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc.

b) Google Analytics employs cookies to collect information about your interactions and engagement with the Ploy Fun website. This information, including your IP address, is used to evaluate your interactions, compile reports on website activity for us, and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage.

c) In the cases mentioned above, Google Analytics will not associate your IP address with any personally identifiable information.

d) As with other cookies, you may opt out of granting access to cookies by modifying the appropriate settings in your web browser. However, doing so might affect your access to the full functionality of the Ploy Fun website.

e) Your continued use of the Ploy Fun website will be considered your express consent to the processing of your data by Google Analytics for the purposes stated above.

f) For additional information, please refer to Google Analytics' privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

Third-Party Content

a) Third-party content (e.g., tests, games, and graphics from other services) may be incorporated into our Service.

b) This means that the third-party service provider may use your IP address to display such content.

c) Ploy Fun is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party websites or services linked to or from our platform. Should you access a link to any external website, any information you disclose to that website is beyond our jurisdiction, and the privacy policy of that specific site will apply.

Cookies are small data text files sent from a server during a Browse session. They are typically stored on your computer’s hard drive and are used by websites to simulate a continuous connection to that site. Cookies automatically identify your browser whenever you interact with a site. A “web beacon,” also known as a tag, pixel tag, or clear GIF, is used to transmit information back to a web server. When we refer to “cookies” in this privacy notice, we mean not just traditional cookies, but also web beacons and similar technologies.

Browsers and devices offer tools that allow you to disable cookies on sites and apps. If you disable cookies, you may not be able to access all the features of our services. We recommend keeping our essential cookies (described below) active for a better user experience and to help us continuously improve and develop our products and services.

Essential Cookies

We use cookies to recognize you and remember you as a unique user. Cookies enable us to:

  • Serve you with content and advertisements.
  • Monitor traffic on our sites and apps.
  • Count and track users who have seen particular ads and content.
  • Analyze your actions, understand your interests, and track your online activity when you leave our sites and apps.

By using your personal data in this way, we can enhance our products, services, and your overall user experience.

  • Session cookies remember you only during your active session on our sites and apps; they are deleted when you log out or close your web browser.
  • Analytics cookies are used by us and by third parties (like Google Analytics) for data analytics purposes. This allows us to manage and improve the performance and design of our sites and apps, and for monitoring, auditing, research, and reporting.
  • Consent cookies may be used by consent management tools we employ to record your preferences about third-party cookies (as described below in the "Third-Party Cookies" section), and to store and share your preferences with us.

We may collect the following personal data through essential cookies: a unique ID assigned to your device; IP address; device and browser type; operating system; referring URLs; content viewed or other actions taken on our sites and apps; time and date of those actions; and your selected country and language.

Our advertising partners and affiliate links partners may collect personal data from you for their own purposes.

  • Ad partners include various entities such as third-party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors, and research firms.
  • Affiliate links partners compensate us when you purchase products or services from them or another third party after clicking on an affiliate link within our content.

Our ad partners use third-party cookies to deliver advertisements to you and to target you with tailored (or personalized) ads when you are on our sites and apps and when you visit third-party sites. They also use cookies to measure traffic on our pages (for example, to track ad views).

Ad partners and affiliate links partners may view, edit, or set their own cookies on your mobile device or web browser when you interact with our sites and apps. They use cookies to track your use of our sites and apps and your activities elsewhere online. Please be aware that Ploy Fun is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We strongly encourage you to read their respective privacy notices to understand how they process information about you.
